Your Role

• KPI-based purchasing of shoes, textiles, and accessories
• Management of best and worst sellers
• Planning of pre-orders including supplier briefings and coordination of dates for collection viewing
• Identification, evaluation, and selection of suppliers and manufacturers
• Negotiation with suppliers on conditions, advertising subsidies, product returns, and markdown participation
• Mid-season reordering of products based on achieved KPIs through both B2B portals of the supplier and reorder catalogs via Excel
• Definition of products including promotional prices for newsletter campaigns in collaboration with marketing
• Inventory management
• Market observation and research on potential brands and suppliers
• Building, managing, and developing an individual supplier pool
• Support in the development and implementation of the purchasing strategy
• Assistance in identifying niches and new products in the market
• Active participation and, if necessary, leadership of relevant projects
• Visits to trade fairs within the fashion and shoe industry, showroom visits, customer appointments, etc.
• Controlling based on purchasing statistics, price analyses, delivery times, and quality of delivered goods

What We Expect

• Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the fashion/shoe industry
• Proficient use of MS Office and ERP systems
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Good English skills
